At Inhaca Ocean Alliance, volunteers are vital in helping us turn the tide for coastal communities. Whether you’re joining us on the ground in Mozambique or offering your skills remotely, your involvement directly supports ocean conservation, youth empowerment, and water safety education.
In-Person | Minimum 2-week stay recommended
Work directly with our team on the island and make a tangible difference in the lives of local children and families. From assisting in our Turn the Tide swimming and ocean education lessons, to leading beach clean-ups and creative recycling projects, you'll be immersed in community and conservation work. You may also help with admin tasks like lesson records, attendance, and materials.
Remote or Hybrid | Flexible Commitment
Become a fundraising ambassador! Join our team as a campaign champion—raise awareness and funds for our swimming education, lifeguard training, and clean-up initiatives. We’ll support you with materials and ideas so you can organize creative fundraising events or online campaigns that make a real impact.
Remote or In-Person | Project-Based
Do you have a specific skill you'd like to offer? We’re always looking for experienced volunteers to help us grow sustainably. Whether you're an expert in grant writing, media, education, governance, or accounting, your knowledge can strengthen our programs and build long-term capacity.
